Pin party: mating squares

Pinned pieces that that are pinned toward a mating square are just as vulnerable as pinned pieces toward another piece.

In Example 1, we see how White directly benefits from a pinned defender of a checkmate square.

Yet we really see the theme of this lesson at work in Example 2: here a pinned piece defends another piece. In this case, recapturing is not possible because mate would follow. A pin party occurs because an enemy piece cannot perform its defensive tasks as it is pinned towards a checkmating square.

What do you have to do?
Give mate or win material by capturing a piece which is defended by a pinned piece. Pay attention to a checkmating square.
